FASTag KYC Update: Complete Your FASTag KYC Now, to Ensure Easy Transactions!

FASTag KYC Update: To prevent people from using one FASTag for multiple cars or attaching multiple FASTags to one vehicle, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) introduced the “One Vehicle, One FASTag” program. This is done to make the Electronic Toll Collection system work better and ensure smooth traffic at toll booths.

FASTags will be blacklisted:

NHAI is telling FASTag users to complete the “Know Your Customer” (KYC) process for their latest FASTags. As of January 15, 2024, only the newest FASTag accounts will be active because old ones will be turned off or put on a blacklist after January 31, 2024. If you need help or have questions, FASTag users can contact the toll plazas nearby or call the toll-free customer care number of their bank.

What is the estimated duration of processing for my FASTag KYC request?

According to the Indian Highway Management Company (IHML) website, it takes a maximum of 7 working days to process your KYC (Know Your Customer) upgrade request from the date you submit it. After you submit the KYC request, you can check its status on the “My Profile” page of the Customer portal. If all your documents are valid and match the information you provided during KYC updating and customer registration, your KYC verification will be accepted, and your KYC status will change. However, if there is any mismatch in the information or if the submitted documents are not proper or valid, your KYC will be rejected, and you will be notified to update it in the same way.
