The late Punjabi musician Sidhu Moosewala’s parents are excited to have a new family member join them. Family sources claim that Sidhu’s mother, Charan Singh, had IVF work done and is currently expecting a child, who is expected in March. Tragically, Sidhu, their only child, died in May 2022.
The second kid of Punjabi musician Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, popularly known as Sidhu Moose Wala, is expected to arrive soon. Moose Wala’s mother, Charan Kaur, is reportedly expecting a baby shortly, according to sources published by India Today.
The only child of Sidhu Moose Wala’s parents, he was sadly killed on May 29, 2022, in Jawaharke village, Mansa district, while riding in his car. He entered the Punjabi Assembly Elections that same year on the Congress ticket, but he was not successful.
Sidhu Moose Wala published a number of songs posthumously even after his untimely demise, and they have received millions of views. With the release of his first song, “G Wagon,” in 2017, Sidhu Moose Wala made his musical debut. He became well-known after releasing several popular albums and singles, including “Legend,” “So High,” “295,” and “The Last Ride.”
Despite speculations that his father, Balkaur Singh, may enter politics and run for the Bathinda Lok Sabha seat, Sidhu Moose Wala has not yet made a definitive statement on the subject. He emphasizes that their family dynamics wouldn’t be significantly impacted even if he were to pursue a career in politics.
However, Sidhu Moose Wala’s mother, Charan Kaur, has come to the fore as a strong advocate of the farmers’ demonstrations. She is a passionate supporter of the cause and works to bring Shubhkaran Singh, a farmer who died tragically at the Khanauri border, some justice. She uses social media to spread her words and garner support for the farmers’ cause by posting images of Shubhkaran Singh, Deep Sidhu, and Moosewala.
Sidhu Moosewala Death:
In May 2022, Sidhu Moosewala was shot and died in the Mansa district of Punjab. He was reportedly traveling in a jeep with his cousin and friend to Jawaharke hamlet in Mansa, which is around 10 miles from the singer’s hometown of Moosa, when a group of six attackers opened fire on him.
An investigation into his death is being conducted by a Punjab police special investigation team (SIT). The group has brought allegations against thirty-two people, including the criminals Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, Goldy Brar, and Lawrence Bishnoi.
A candlelit march was held in Mansa in Sidhu’s honor. Large crowds of his admirers and supporters flocked to Moosa village to take part in the march and seek justice for him. Sidhu’s mom was present during the march as well. In addition, a gurdwara in Jawahar Ke village hosted prayers in remembrance of the late singer.
Diljit Dosanjh sympathized with Moosewala’s parents in 2022, recognizing the great suffering they must be going through in the wake of their son’s untimely death. He also emphasized the past instances in which artists have been persecuted. But he attributed the majority of the responsibility for their alleged carelessness to the administration.
In an interview with Film Companion, Diljit talked on the passing of Deep Sidhu, who was killed in an automobile accident, and Moosewala. He acknowledged the effort both artists had put in, highlighting his conviction that artists are often morally upright people.
It was hard for him to understand why someone would hurt someone else for no apparent cause. Diljit conveyed his profound sadness for the circumstances and showed compassion for Moosewala’s parents, recognizing the unspeakable suffering they must be going through.
Among many other hits, the singer-turned-politician was best known for songs like So High, Same Beef, The Last Ride, Just Listen, and 295.
